I read the whole series. They’re a little on the rediculous side. But I enjoyed the series. Was pretty much what I was looking for.There are a few weird typos in each book.

I have no idea how Mr. Hosker writes such consistently captivating and entertaining novels so quickly about so many different topics. All of his series, including Combined Operations, are excellent.
If you're reading the series, it gets repetitive after a while. Still fun, but was more fun in the first three parts.
Great book and a great series . The commando books are all great . They are so real. Once you start you can not put it down I cannot wait for the next one
Mr Hosker writes very enjoyable, believable stories. The series is outstanding. Wish there were more to come but the war did finally end.
Hosker has a good formula for relating history in a historical novel. I like the exploration of the American actions in this novel, as a Patton devotee, I was surprised that his army's efforts barely got a mention. My criticism is Hosker's approach is very assembly line. Well researched but still formulaltic in construction.
Griff can write like it's nobody business, I always look forward to his next novel, I don't know how he does it, but it works. God bless the brave men and women in the commandos and what they did to make our works a safer place, this is fiction mixed with fact. Love it!!
As usual our hero wins through with several narrow shaves and we realise how dangerous it all is as he looses a few men .The history is quite faithful so the s goes well .I am sure there will be further adventures to come .
